A Version of the Truth

I finished this book in the spring. It is about a young woman is trying to live life just like a normal person. However, she desperately needs a job and decides to lie on her resume to get a job where she can use her knowledge about birds. This definitely has some consequences which you will know about when you read this book. This story teaches you that if you take risks, there could be bad consequences. The girl in this book, Cassie seems just like a normal woman and the author does a good job in trying to get the reader to relate to the character and even care about her. The bird facts are a nice touch because I never thought of birds in the way Kaufman and Mack describe it. I would recommend this book to people who like romance and nature. This book is full of twists and turns that you would not expect. I give this book 3/5 stars. Thank you again for reading! ~~M
